Condition Guide

Condition is assigned from the item as a whole and supported by item-specific notes. Please read both the grade and the detailed description before purchasing.

Condition scale

Grade What it means
Giftable Presentation is especially clean and suitable for gifting; packaging and included accessories are listed separately.
New Appears unused, with no meaningful signs of wear observed during review.
Excellent Very light evidence of handling or use; overall appearance remains exceptionally well preserved.
Very Good Gentle, visible use consistent with careful ownership, without dominating the overall appearance.
Shows Wear Noticeable signs of use such as scuffs, marks, patina, softening, scratches, or interior wear.
Worn Pronounced wear, age, repairs, or cosmetic flaws. These details are disclosed in the condition notes and photography.

How to read a listing

Review the condition notes, all photographs, measurements, and the “comes with” list. Hardware scratches, corner wear, handle patina, interior marks, odor, shape loss, and prior repairs are documented when observed and relevant.

Vintage character

Age-related patina can be expected on vintage items and is not automatically treated as damage. The listing explains how age presents on the specific piece.
